PROGRAMS AND EVENTS

Delta Phi Lambda® continues to innovate and excel, developing national programming and events that actively support the growth, education, health, and well-being of our members. We also empower our members to develop their own programming and events that positively impact their campuses, fraternal communities, and greater surrounding communities. Read on to learn about some of these exciting offerings below.

NATIONAL

We strive to continue developing sisters into Dedicated Female Leaders®. We provide personal and professional opportunities for sisters to enrich their experiences through nationally led programs.

NATIONAL CONVENTION

Our annual national convention is a forum where sisters from around the U.S. unite to bring culturally diverse perspectives to teach, learn, and reflect amongst each other. During convention, we conduct sorority business, learn about new programs and initiatives, recognize chapter and individual excellence, invest in our own personal and professional development, and most importantly, strengthen the bonds of Everlasting Sisterhood®.

3 C'S PROGRAM

Our chapters promote osteoporosis awareness through a national program called The 3 C’s: Collaboration, Cooperation and Celebration. Each semester, chapters host a three-day event that celebrates and raises funds for our national philanthropy, American Bone Health.

CHAPTER LED PROGRAMMING (CLP)

Our chapters participate in the Chapter Led Programming, which was developed to foster chapter growth and progress will certifying quality performance through a set of operation guidelines and standards. The program ensures our chapters' stability in finances, efficient operations, strong academics, and active community involvement.

CHAPTER
Krispy Kreme Fundraiser

At least once every year Nu chapter brings fresh donuts from Krispy Kreme to campus and sells them throughout the day. Preorders are prioritized and the rest of the donuts are available until sellout. Money raised from the fundraiser help cover travel expenses to attend Delta Phi Lambda's annual convention, the Association of Fraternal Leadership & Values (AFLV) retreat, and sisters' study abroad fees.

Spring Roll Philanthropy

Every Spring semester Nu Chapter hosts our Spring Roll Philanthropy. Spring rolls are served in East, South, Middle Eastern, and Southeast Asian cuisine. They are filled with varieties of local vegetables, all wrapped in a thin flour (or rice) wrapping. Spring rolls can also be made with ground pork, shrimp, or tofu. Sisters of Nu Chapter prepare and sell the spring rolls on site and may also prepare other appetizers and desserts on the side such as crab rangoons and Vietnamese Chè Thái.

AFLV

Every year sisters from Nu Chapter attend the Association of Fraternal Leadership & Values program experience. Attendees participate in leadership workshops, discussions, and award ceremonies that aim to build and promote progressive fraternity/sorority communities. AFLV features keynote speakers presenting over a wide range of personal and community issues as well as change and empowerment.
